It seems that “Patriarch” Bartholomew and his followers are more concerned with keeping the world green than with preserving the Faith. Of course, we should respect nature and care for God’s creation. But why are we so troubled by the possibility of losing this world, yet seem so little troubled by the possibility of losing our souls?
Surely that is not the primary responsibility entrusted to those who claim to shepherd Christ’s Church. There are plenty of people whose work is to protect the environment. Our responsibility is to preserve the Orthodox Faith, defend the truth, and hand it down untarnished to the next generation.
