All physical publications, liturgical goods, and sacred handiworks are dispatched directly from the Sacred Monastery of St. John of the Ladder in Boeotia, Greece.

1. Free Worldwide Shipping & Tracking

We are pleased to offer Free Worldwide Shipping on all physical orders.

  • Carriers: Packages are dispatched via registered Hellenic Post (the national postal authority of Greece) or reputable international carrier partners.
  • Tracking: Every registered shipment includes a tracking number so you can follow your package in transit. You will a dispatch email with tracking details as soon as your parcel is lodged with the post.

2. Estimated Delivery Times

Once your parcel has been prepared and lodged with the postal service, estimated transit times are as follows:

  • Europe: 5–10 business days
  • USA & Canada: 10–20 business days
  • Australia & Rest of the World: 15–25 business days

Note: Delivery times are estimates. Occasional transit delays can occur due to international customs processing in your destination country, which is outside our control.

3. Customs, Duties & US Tariff Notice

  • Non-EU Orders: All items listed on our website are shown tax-free for international export. You do not pay European VAT on orders shipped outside the European Union.
  • United States & US Territories (15% Tariff Fee):
    Physical goods imported into the United States are subject to an official 20% US government import tariff. To assist our American patrons, our monastery directly absorbs 5% of this cost.
    • The remaining balance is assessed at checkout as US Import Tariff & Regulatory Fee (15%).
    • Collecting this fee transparently at checkout ensures your parcel clears US border processing without unexpected fees upon delivery.
    • Exemptions: Voluntary donations, digital subscriptions, and downloadable publications are 100% exempt from this fee.
  • All Other Countries: Any local customs duties, VAT, or import clearance fees assessed by border authorities outside the EU and US remain the responsibility of the recipient upon delivery.

4. Monastic Liturgical Schedule (Lent & Pascha Notice)

Because our brotherhood maintains an intensive liturgical cycle during the Church’s principal liturgical seasons, we do not prepare, package or ship orders during:

  • The first week of Great Lent (Clean Week)
  • Holy Week
  • Bright Week (Pascha Week)

Orders placed during these liturgical periods will be prepared and dispatched as quickly as possible once normal schedules resume.
