At the Cathedral of St. Gregory Palamas in Thessalonica Sermon concerning Life and Miracles of Francis of Assisi!

Last night, on October 3, 2019, during the usual homily that takes place on Thursdays at the Cathedral of St. Gregory Palamas, where the Saint’s Holy Relic is located, Archimandrite Eusebius who was discussing the Book of the Apocalypse mentioned “Saint” Francis of Assisi and his miracles!

In the very cathedral of St. Gregory of Palamas, who was the number one enemy of the heresies of the Papists, and close to His Holy Relic, this archimandrite dared to speak of the miracles and saintliness of a man who belonged to the heresy of the Papists!

One man from the audience had the enlightenment to object to these words of the homilists, but unfortunately, the crowd gathered there for the sermon agreed with the priest that it was inappropriate for anyone to object.
Those listening to the homily asked the objecting man to leave the church “as the priest knows better”. What kind of defense will such “Orthodox” clergymen have before the awesome judgment seat of Christ?
