Dear brother Bishops, Clergy and God-loving flock in the Lord
our Church!
Let us remind you that after the sad events of 2016, when some clerics from the Omsk-
Siberian diocese and the parishioners who followed them, the now former Omsk parish of the
RTOC, tried to cause a split, some of our parishioners loyal to their Ruling Bishop and the
Synod of the RTOC were forced to leave the temple without trying to enter into a conflict that
could go into a “hot” phase. The faithful were faced with the problem of continuing worship,
which by the grace of God was resolved just before the Pascha of Christ – a family of our
parishioners benevolently provided our renewed Community with a building for worship,
where we continue to celebrate the Eucharist to this day for 8 years.
The providence of God had not left His faithful. In the future very significant events took place
in the life of our Community.
The hope of all the parishioners was to erect a temple and a church house with a hall on a
plot of land that was acquired by the parish. Thanks to the nun Antonia (Gushan) (reposed in
the Lord) from the parish of St. Righteous John of Kronstadt in Odessa, who donated her
housing to the Church, with the help of God, this desire has become possible. The temple
building has already been erected, but there is still a lot of work to be done on the interior. It
will probably take a long time before the completion of the full arrangement of the temple.
Next in line is the construction of a parish house.
Our community is small, and we do not have enough funds to complete the construction of
the parish complex. According to the calculations of our specialist, approximately 1.5 million
rubles are needed to complete the construction and beautification of the temple.
We undertook this charitable work, because. we consider it our Christian duty, and we hope
for God’s help, and the responsiveness of kind people.
We do not have sufficient capital to complete the begun God-pleasing deed, and therefore we
appeal to all of you – the children of the Church of Christ with an ardent request to provide us with
material assistance for the successful completion of the holy work begun. We firmly believe that
everyone we turn to will not refuse to support us. For the Lord Himself said that where Christians
gather to pray, there I am among them. The very place where this prayer and the Sacraments are
performed – the temple of God – is the greatest shrine. Therefore, building a temple and taking care
of its splendor is a special and highest Christian virtue.
We will be very grateful, even for the smallest contribution. We will always pray to the Lord God for your
health, as well as for the repose of the souls of your deceased relatives.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank our benefactors in advance for their help and ask them to
continue their support until the construction of the parish house is completed and the temple properly
arranged, in which unceasing prayers will be offered for them.
And may our Lord reward you an hundredfold for all your kind help with the construction and
adornment of our Temple in honor of the Holy Royal Martyrs, all the New Martyrs and
Confessors of Russia, and the Holy Fathers-Confessors of the Catacomb Church.
The donated funds should be given to the Ruling Bishop of each diocese. In turn, these funds will be
transferred to the parish at the upcoming Synod Meeting, which will be held in autumn, presumably in
November of this year.
