The “Evils” of Religious Schools According to Swedish Minister of Education Anna Ekström

The Minister of Education of Sweden, Anna Ekström, who states that religious schools “harm society”, is pushing a law that to shut down religious schools to keep order in society.

The Swedish government is planning to stop the future founding of religious schools which are threatening to the secular state.

Among other things, Anna Ekström explained that no child should be deprived of the teachings, for example, of evolution, or of gender, or living together.

The Minister of Culture Ardalan Shekarabi stated that the Hebrew Schools should be exempted from this law after he received criticism from the Hebrew Central Committee.
