Nicodemus The Athonite writes, “Be careful not to read the books of heretics. Avoid the books of atheists like fire. Do not even accept to take them into your hands. I suggest that you do not even read those apologetic books against the atheists, for they can be harmful to the weak, if not also the strong in faith”.
