The Fast of the Holy Apostles
Wishing everyone a blessed beginning of the Fast of the Holy Apostles which begins tomorrow! This beautiful and often-overlooked season of fasting invites us to honour the labours, sacrifices, and preaching of the Holy Apostles. This fast has a special significance to all of us in the Diocese of Western Europe as the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul are our Patron Saints. May this time of spiritual renewal bring us closer to Christ, through prayer, repentance, and love for our neighbour. A blessed fast to all!
