Gender equality, ‘science’ fascism, and the long march of ecumenism through the Holy Scripture.
‘If any shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.’ – Revelation 22:18-
As I may have mentioned, I am a True Orthodox Christian. We are called, pejoratively, ‘zealots’, but this is not an insult. We have been called Tikhonites after St Tikhon the last true patriarch, or as Josephites after St Joseph of St Petersburg, and probably several other names in a futile attempt by the enemies of God to categorise the True Church of Christ as a sect.
Ecumenism is the movement to ‘unify’ all the disparate ‘branches’ of faith of all nations, into one great big super-religion. It’s chief organs are the World Council of Churches and the National Councils of Churches.
As far as I am aware, only the True Church of Christ is resisting this movement at the institutional level. The ‘Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia’ is pretending to resist, but since they became the catamite slave of the KGB-run Moscow Patriarchate in 2007 this ‘resistance’ is a show to keep the traditionalist-leaning dupes of the world orthodox laity under the misguided illusion that their ‘church’ still has some integrity. It does not.
It’s probably better not to even mention the layman Dimitrios Arthodonis. I don’t like to give him airtime, but you can listen to him spout some meaningless NWO drivel in Geneva earlier this year here (don’t watch it if you’re eating).
It all takes a bit of explaining if you’re new to all this. It’s done very well here. This should be required reading for all who wish to consider themselves Christian.
Anyway, I noted at one point whilst reading this that the New King James Version of The New Testament was published in 1979. The ecumenist movement was well under way at that point, and moreover, will have almost certainly been deeply involved in the production of that book.
‘A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump’ – Galatians 5:9
‘Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?’ – 1 Corinthians 5:6
‘Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.’ – Mark 8:15
Leaven plays a pretty big part in the Holy Scriptures, in the account of the incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ, the second person of the Holy Trinity. There is a mystery here.
So, despite what the Christian Nationalists of Gab might want to believe, there is a big, big problem in Christendom, and it is not the Jews, and it is not the Muslims. It’s the ‘Christian’ heretics, and unfortunately, if you are part of the lump, you are gonna get leavened. It’s already happening, worse yet, it’s already happened.
The idea that the remaining ‘Christian’ churches in any way shape or form represent an opposition to the satanic world order that has been gradually installed around us is unfortunately rather ill-founded. I’m afraid they are rather the stronghold of it. There is a lot of rabble-rousing about the ‘survival’ of the West as a ‘Christian’ stronghold, but that just reminds me of the empty nationalism of the Pharisees and the Saduccees as rebuked by the Forerunner, St John the Baptist of the Lord:
“and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.” – Matthew 3:9
Same for anyone saying we are ‘white’ or ‘English’, ‘German’ ‘Anglo-Saxon’ or what-have-you. You’re missing the point. Don’t get me wrong, I love the nations. I like patriotism, I like cultures, but nationalism is undoubtedly a great evil, and Christ came to put an end to it. Christians are to become members of the Kingdom of God – and this is not an earthly kingdom. The nations are earthly kingdoms. End of.
Remember, Hitler made a deal with the Roman Catholic church to ascend to power. Please don’t be fooled into thinking Roman Catholicism bears anything but an entirely superficial resemblance to actual Christianity i.e True Orthodoxy.
I notice that more and more of the conspiracy-minded folk are grasping the nettle, they have encountered evil and been forced to admit that it is only God who can help us out of the scrape we have gotten ourselves into. They run to The Bible and to the big apparently-Christian churches, but it’s out of the frying pan into the fire I’m afraid.
Even and especially Protestants who think only that the Word of God, in the form of the Holy Scriptures, contains enough to save a person, by dint of the doctrine of Sola Scriptura, and who thus shun ‘organised’ church bodies like the major ‘churches’ of Christianity, are totally getting leavened with the leaven of the Scribes and the Pharisees.
How?
Well, a little leaven leavens the whole lump. As Christ makes clear, ‘leaven’ can be a teaching, and you only need a little leaven, or a little bit of a false teaching. Thus we are warned of how even a little Pharisaical interpretation can set us on a path to destruction.
This is why actual Christians have always been True Orthodox, there is no other possibility for Christian worship than to preserve the faith exactly as it was handed down to us, regardless of any modern interpretations.
It was John 16:21 that first brought the problem I am about to outline to my attention, a little leaven that is swiftly spreading to the whole lump.
To quote the King James Version:
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.’ – John 16:21
Many Orthodox today will use ‘The Orthodox Study Bible’ for reference and reading. It seems like a useful edition, since it contains the Old Testament from the Septuagint. The edition used for the New Testament is the New King James version, and indeed, one supposes for the sake of consistency, New King James-style language has been used throughout the Old Testament. The main difference, and for many people the only apparent difference, is the discarding of the ‘polite’ forms of address ‘Thee’ and ‘Thou’, and ‘Thy’ and so on, and replacing them with ‘You’, ‘Your’ etc, and the updating of ‘archaic’ verb forms like ‘shalt’, ‘wouldst’, ‘lovedst’ and so on.
And so, in this ‘Orthodox’ Bible we will find the Ten Commandments not instructing us ‘Thou shalt not….’ to ‘You shall not…’.
Personally, I don’t really like this update. From an Orthodox perspective, we can see that many of our great saints were those who translated Holy Scripture and the divine services into the language of a newly-converted peoples. However, in the case of the English versions of The Bible, one can easily point out that the English were, unfortunately, heretics by the time the first English translation was made. It was made by heretics for heretics. All nominally Orthodox should already be well aware that the King James Bible features a Masoretic Old Testament.
However, the English people, the masses, were generally unaware by that time that Roman Catholicism/Satanism had been foisted on them by the forerunner of antichrist (the ‘pope’) and his power-hungry friends-of-convenience the Normans. Moreover, the Anglican Church, even through the reformation and its creation, actually still believed (broadly speaking) that it had and had faithfully maintained Apostolic Succession.
The upshot is that there were several hundred years of the English using the King James version of The Bible, and, with regard to the New Testament at least, this usage was generally accepted by the True Orthodox Church i.e. by ROCOR operating in the New World (pre-2007). My understanding is that its use was generally accepted as the best English translation available, and that even though it was not officially an ‘Orthodox’ translation, that there was sufficient faithfulness in the translation that it was suitable for general every day usage by the True Orthodox faithful.
So, yes, I prefer it. I like the ‘Thee’ and ‘Thou’ stuff. I like it that I have to think sometimes to extract the meaning. Holy Scripture is food for the spirit, and it’s good for the brain too, in my opinion.

It’s got more oomph.

And gravity.
Apart from anything else, I live in Yorkshire, and we still use ‘Thee’, and ‘Tha’ – as in ‘Tha knows’. It’s not an archaic form. It’s still in use.

Not like this, but hey.
“They” (the elite heretics whom the prince of this world has rewarded with unimaginable riches and influence) might want us Northerners, and indeed just about everybody else, dead, but we’re actually still here for the moment, and there were certainly a great many more people using this form of speech in 1979, when the New King James Version New Testament was first published.
The churches, even the sectarians, are upstream of culture, and the Church Herself is in fact the source. The prince of this world is well aware of this, and it is here that his attacks are always begun and focussed. It is no accident that all this ‘inclusive language’ nonsense began its formal application in the ecumenical movement. It can therefore be argued that the move to ‘update’ the language is not a ‘reflection’ of current usage, but a deliberate ‘steering’ of current usage toward heresy.
So, back to the main point. Overwhelmingly then, the changes in the New King James Version of the New Testament are the replacement of supposedly outmoded forms of certain pronouns and verbs. However, there is one instance in which another change is made and it is John 16:21.
“A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.” – NKJV John 16:21
Hmm.
Human being, eh?
Now, I’ve done some digging, and apart from the obvious ‘inclusive’ nature of this change, from ‘man’ to ‘human being’, there is, I maintain something even more sinister at work here.
Whenever I try to dig into the history of the usage of the term ‘human being’ I find myself confronted with this ‘science’ garbage about Homo Sapiens and ‘higher primates’ and what-have-you. This goes right to the root of the questions that The Bible answers and that modern ‘science’ is attempting to supplant – What is Man? Why are we here? When will it all end? Where did we come from? How did all this come to be? – and it assumes that the ‘science’ answer is correct.
A human being is a ‘species’ term. A human being is, according to Oxford Languages – the dictionary people:
a man, woman, or child of the species Homo sapiens, distinguished from other animals by superior mental development, power of articulate speech, and upright stance. – (My emphasis)
In case you weren’t already aware, what passes for modern ‘science’ and ‘secularism’ is nothing but pagan/free-masonic satanism’/luciferianism with frosted glass and white coats. Just because a laboratory is clean, sterile and hygienic in the material realm does not mean it is not a disgusting, putrid, rotten torture-hovel of demon-kind. They live only to destroy mankind and oppose the saving work of Our Lord.
This one small change that ‘they’ put into the NKJV was in fact the beginnings of a flood of such changes in all subsequent ‘translation’ or ‘versions’ of Holy Scripture. Just try typing ‘human’ or ‘humanity’ into Bible Hub and you will see that this nefarious leaven has made it all the way through the Old Testament now too.
I have an old (1894) facsimile edition of Brewer’s Dictionary of Phrase and Fable, a crossword-lover’s tome. In my fevered inquisition into this matter I consulted this work and found, interestingly enough, that as far as the people of 1894 were concerned the word ‘Humanitarians’ referred to “Those who believe that Jesus Christ was only man. The disciples of St. Simon are so called also, because they maintain the perfectibility of human nature without the aid of grace.”.
Wow.
That’s a two-for-one on ancient heresies. The first is Arianism, condemned at the First and all subsequent Ecumenical Councils, alive and kicking today in Islam, Jehova’s Witnessery, Mormons (and many, many others). The second is called Pelagianism, and it was defeated quite excitingly in these Isles by St David, the patron saint of Welsh Wales. It was formally condemned at the Council of Carthage in 418 (according to my fairly cursory research on the specifics). There really is nothing new under the sun.
Humanitarians.
Well, I’ll be. Turn over a rock anywhere in the modern world and you will find heretics squirming and blinking in the light.
Heretics love to congratulate one another.
Weird how there’s so many Democrats. A little leaven….
Anyway, where were we, oh yes, heretics.
Funny how you just put ‘humanit-’ on the front of ‘Arianism’ and hey presto!
In brief, including this term ‘human’, and its various derivatives, is all about the distortion of the true message of the Church – the revelation of the Trinitarian nature of God, the proper form of worship and prayer that follow from this correct revelation. True Orthodoxy.
The Lord Jesus is the chief cornerstone and also the ‘rock of offence’.
Those who do not believe His message are wont to call him ‘just a man’. In this sense, this means to the modern mind ‘just a human being’, since if He was ‘just a man’, then God is not a Trinity. If He was ‘just a man’ then there is no divine condescension, nowhere for man and God to meet.
By the inevitable logic of using this term, He was, as the Scribes and the Pharisees wanted to believe and continue to maintain to this day, a liar, an imposter, and very much not the Messiah. Just a man. God forbid.
This term ‘human being’ has no place in Holy Scripture.
“Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.” – Luke 23:34
Anyway, my Substack editor is saying that this post is getting a bit long, it’s probably all the gifs.
There is more to this but it’ll have to wait for another post. I’ve had some ideas about the polite pronouns now too. I’ll try to write again soon.
May God bless you and keep you and grant you enlightenment.
If there is anything good in this article then it is from God, and all the errors are of course mine alone. Please forgive my worldly attempts to make this very serious topic ‘humorous’ and ‘palatable’. I remain one of the ‘generation of vipers’ myself and I pray that by God’s grace we might all be made worthy of His mercy.
