The Fruit of Our Hands
As many of you know, TrueOrthodox.eu is operated by the Brotherhood of the Sacred Monastery of St. John of the Ladder.
While we labour to provide spiritual texts and articles here on the site, our daily life is also sustained by the work of our hands in our monastery workshop.
We are pleased to announce that now all 19 varieties of our authentic, handmade Athonite incense are now available from our official monastery store.
Quality and Tradition
We take great care in our craft. Whether it is the purity of the frankincense or the quality of the essential oils we source, we strive to produce incense that is truly worthy of worship. It is noticeably cleaner and richer than standard commercial incense—a difference we believe you will appreciate in your own prayer life.
A Personal Selection from Monk Symeon
We know that choosing between 19 different scents can be difficult. To help with this, we are introducing a new way to order that is very close to our hearts: Monk Symeon’s Curated Selection.
Those of you who know Monk Symeon know the great love and attention he pours into the incense making. He takes real joy in his craft and loves to share it with others.
With this new option, you simply select the size of the package (0.5lb/225g or 1lb/450g), and Fr. Symeon will personally hand-pick a “bouquet” of our varieties especially for you. He looks forward to selecting a harmonious assortment for you, whether you are an old friend of the monastery or someone trying our handiwork for the first time.

Of course, if you already have favourites or wish to try specific scents, we have also added a “Create Your Own Collection“ option, allowing you to select any five varieties to fill your order.
