True Orthodox Diocese of Western Europe

Russian True Orthodox Church (RTOC)

Dear Fathers, brothers, and sisters in Christ,

We are now just 6 weeks away from our departure to the Holy Land!

As we approach the Nativity of our Saviour, our hearts naturally turn toward Bethlehem, Jordan, and Jerusalem. We are writing this urgent update to issue a final call for pilgrims to join the Diocese of Western Europe on this sacred journey.

We have a few remaining spots that we must fill to finalize our group arrangements. If you have been hesitating, or if you were waiting for a sign to go, this is it.

To walk where the Lord walked is a life-changing blessing. To do so alongside our holy archpastor, Bishop Philaretos, and the Fathers of our diocese, ensures that this is not merely “tourism,” but a true spiritual pilgrimage.

Join Vladyka Philaretos and our Fathers for a true pilgrimage, not just a “tour.”

Why You Should Join Us Now

Here is why we urge you to secure your place immediately:

  • Spiritual Leadership: You will be traveling, praying, and breaking bread with Bishop Philaretos and our clergy.
  • Incredible Access: We are staying at a guesthouse right at the Damascus Gate. You will be steps away from the Old City and the Holy Sepulchre.
  • All-Inclusive Ground Costs: For €1100, we handle everything from the moment you step off the plane. This includes your hotel, breakfast and dinner daily, all bus transport, and all entry fees.

The Journey Awaits

Imagine starting your year by:

  • Kneeling at the Holy Sepulchre and Golgotha.
  • Wading in the blessed waters of the Jordan River where Christ Himself deigned to be baptised.
We will perform the Great Blessing of the Waters at the Jordan River.
  • Ascending Mount Tabor where the Transfiguration took place.
  • Venerating the Cave of the Nativity in Bethlehem and the Tomb of St. Lazarus.
  • Visiting the ancient monasteries of the Judaean Desert, including St. Sabbas and St. George in Lydda.
The ancient Lavra of St. Sabbas the Sanctified (Mar Saba) in the Judaean Desert.
