If Dr. Seuss knew about heresy perhaps..,

I do not want their bread and wine,

I do not want it, not a sign.

I do not want to pray with them,

Not in the East, nor in the West.

I do not want their false pretense,

No unity at Truth’s expense.

I will not join them here or there,

I will not join them anywhere.

I will not sit within their pews,

I will not follow modern views.

I will not kneel before their lies,

Nor offer up my sacrifice.

Not in the chapel, not on the street,

Not in the church where false ones meet.

I do not want their mixed up creed,

With Holy Faith, I have no need.

I will not share in feigned embrace,

With those who scorn our holy grace.

Would you, could you, if they asked?

Would you, could you, drop the task?

Would you bow and would you laud?

Would you trade the Truth for fraud?

I would not, could not, join their cause,

For they transgress our holy laws.

I could not, would not, stand with them,

Their fellowship—anathema!

You will not bend? You will not break?

Their liturgical gifts you will not take?

Not their bread and not their wine,

Not their blessings, not a sign.

I do not want them, cannot go,

Their path leads only down below.

I love the Church, pure, whole, and true,

I love Her saints, Her faithful few.

And I will walk where Christ has trod,

With those who love the Faith of God.
